Made from clear pine cut from local RI forests, hauled to a sawmill, milled, dried, then carefully cut in the many parts to produce an authentic scaled canoe model of the legendary E.M. White Guide canoe that was the main stay canoe used by trappers, guides, fire and sportsman throughout the rivers of Maine. Still be made worldwide in the exact same method as our kit. A proven, easy to build method for anyone that has knowledge of using basic hand wood working tools, such as a sander, glue, sand paper, pliers, painting or varnish supplies.
